Fabric Specification: The non-permeable polyester material used in the fabric duct connectors has a melting point of approximately 482°F (295°C). They don’t absorb moisture so they are quick-drying and mildew resistant. The material has good abrasion resistance and resistance to stretching and shrinking. The material will stay flexible under very low-temperature conditions. This fabric is Inherently Fire Retardant.

Fabric Couplers are designed with Elastic Binders that "cinch" around flexible ducts. It is used when you need to extend the length of a duct by connecting to another duct or to reduce the overall length of a duct by cinching around the excess ducting.
